About Kaltoesa Calculator

Kaltoesa Calculator is a free set of tools that lets workers in Korea check their own annual leave, leave allowance, ordinary wage, severance pay, unemployment benefit, and take-home pay.

Why this exists

Korean labor-law calculations like severance pay or leave allowance are notoriously complex, so employees often struggle to verify whether the amount their employer quotes is actually correct. This service was built so that anyone can plug in the same figures the law requires and check the result themselves, instead of simply trusting whatever number they are given.

How it is run

Kaltoesa Calculator is a non-commercial web service planned, built, and operated by a single independent developer. It is not affiliated with any company or government agency, and it does not sell any paid product or service beyond running ads. Values you type into the calculators (dates, amounts, etc.) are never sent to a server — everything is computed locally in your browser. The one exception is the AI contract review feature, which sends the pasted contract text to an external AI service; see the Privacy Policy for details.
